We are looking for a driven Sales Manager with strong people management skills and a sound revenue growth track record. The candidate will be a player/coach for our salesforce and be accountable for ensuring personal and team monthly forecasts are achieved consistently.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Sales Manager (10+ years) able to provide sound leadership and technical guidance to a newly built salesforce;
- Has the ability to grasp trends by product lines and territory to have clear understanding on how to drive priorities;
- Has a strong sales record and ability to learn technical solutions;
- Is passionate about growing a business and providing strong support to customers;
- Has polished soft skills, articulate communication style based on audience need and is bi-lingual;
- Is willing to travel and build customer relationships f2f with key customers with a broad understanding of industries in Sri Lanka and strong problem-solving capabilities;
- Has strong attention to detail, high levels of personal drive, a resilient nature, with high expectations of yourself and others.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Drive top-line sales growth faster than market peers and ensure Nikini’s salesforce meets sales targets consistently;
- Accountable for Profit & Loss;
- Ensure all people management responsibilities are exceeded including developing employee competencies;
- Learn competitor landscape and keep abreast of new technological developments;
- Partner closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure aligned objectives and outcomes.
- BSc Hons Degree in Business or a Technical Discipline (Engineering certifications preferred);
- Minimum 5 years General Manager experience, with responsibility of US5Million + P&L;
- Demonstrated track record of growing sales revenue;
- Proven technical and commercial acumen, with experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams in growth mode.
